This will be a federal cost reimbursable subaward agreement with a purchase order. You’ll be required to invoice against the agreement and purchase order for actual costs incurred (generally by broad expense category). Tufts University will have a central inbox for submission of electronic invoices that need to reference a valid PO number. Once we receive your invoice, review and approve it, federal subawards have a net 30 payment requirement from the date on the invoice.

THIS-WIC will take the lead in identifying surveys and other tools that can be used across all funded projects. Applicants should focus their energy on addressing the following bullets in the evaluation section:
• Tell us about your ability to implement the intervention in a randomized fashion or with comparison and treatment groups
• Demonstrate the capacity and commitment to collaborate with the THIS-WIC team on all aspects of the evaluation including ability to collect and share data and/or capacity-building activities to allow the grantee to build capacity to collect and share data
• Explain how data are currently managed and, if applicable, analyzed; applicant should provide a clear description of existing capacity and resources
• Describe your ability to provide documentation of procedures used to maintain the quality and integrity of all data and analyses
Your application would still fall under Priority Area One since the proposal emphasizes existing telehealth solutions (e.g., videoconferencing). However, you should consider your ability to develop, pilot test, and implement this new online nutrition education delivery into your project timeline.
Regarding timeline expectations, we expect applicants to complete the provided template. Applicants can edit specific elements of template however to align with their proposed project, but key milestones need to be included. Agencies have up to 30 months for planning and implementation once funded.
